Monday again already!? This weekend went so fast! It was such a nice, low-key weekend…exactly what I needed! Full of all my favorite things…can’t go wrong with that!
Friday night we went out to dinner with Johnny’s family, his uncle and aunt were in from out-of-town. Afterwards, we decided to get milkshakes and watch a movie at home. Bentley was jealous so we shared with him, and yes, the cup is stuck to his nose here.
Saturday involved Pure Barre and a hair cut for me! I recently cut about 9 inches of hair and donated it, so it’s growing so quick and was starting to look a little crazy! While I was at the salon, Johnny took Benny to PetCo to get groomed, or as we call it, The Spa. When we ask Ben if he wants to go to “The Spa”, he starts running around and crying at the door. It’s pathetic…he is for sure spoiled!
After that, Johnny and I went on a fun little date that I’ve been wanted to do for a while…a trip to the new(er) Whole Foods in Wexford!!!
Look at those bulk bins!!! Just go on for miles
I know I’m in a minority here, but I really love grocery shopping. Especially at a place like this, how could you not? It surprisingly wasn’t busy either! After we finished shopping, we got a late lunch/early dinner of hot bar, sushi, and beer! Penn Brewery for him, Angry Orchard for her. Johnny told me he’d be a lot more likely to go shopping with me if there is always a promise of beer.
I picked up some fun things too that I can’t find anywhere else:

and my favorite coconut milk coffee creamer (puppy photobomber!)
Saturday night we went to a beer tasting party that Johnny goes to about once a month. I just went for the company and drank a few glasses of wine ;)

(I’m not sure if the German’s had this in mind when they made awesome sized cup holders in my Jetta, but they fit perfectly. Don’t worry, they were sealed!)
Sunday included a relaxing morning with delicious coffee, crepes and lounging.
The rest of the day was lots of laundry, cleaning, relaxing and of course some more Pure Barre!
I got 3 classes in towards my goal of 20 in 30! Only 17 more to go….
I hope you had a great weekend as well! Have a happy, productive Monday!

That’s so awesome that you donated your hair!
I really love grocery shopping too. If I’m in a bad mood, grocery shopping never ceases to make me happy, especially if its grocery shopping at Whole Foods!
I definitely just googled the Barre bar and am loving the ingredients! What a great bar to eat during your Pure Barre 20 in 30 goal!
